Anatoly was born in Leningrad, Russia. He graduated from the Repin Institute (Academy of Arts) , where he also earned a Doctor of Arts Degree in 1996. His creations have been exibited in St'Petersburg, Moscow, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, Belgium and USA. Collectors from all over Europe have discovered his work

His personal exhibitions have taken place in St'Petersburg, Russia in 1979, 1981, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1989, 1992, 1998, 2001; in Tula, Russia in 1993; in Berlin in 1989, 1991; in Budapest, Bulgaria in 1994, USA in 2003, 2004, 2005
