about the artist
About me.
My name is Voronina Daria .
1981 - I was born in Moscow in family of teachers.
1995- 1997 – Training at the Moscow art school ? 1.
1997-1999 - Training at the liceum of art and crafts # 332 (Moscow)
1999-2004 - Training in Moscow pedagogical university at the art-graphic faculty.
2004 - Now I am post-graduate student at the same university. I writing the
dissertation on art criticism. The theme of my research is correlation of
architecture iconpainting in Russian medieval art.
2004 - member of a trade union of artists.
Now I work as the teacher, the author and the leader of the telecasts devoted to a history of art on an educational telechannel SGU-TV (modern humanitarian university. Moscow). The channel is broadcast on a satellite communication.
Also I am passion for a photo. Every year in the summer I travel as the photographer in historical expeditions on the north of Russia.

2005- Exhibition “National traditions” of fund “Russian arts help charity (Moscow – London); exhibition of the union of young artists (Moscow); the exhibition of creative youth dated for the 60-anniversary of the Victory (Moscow - Berlin) Pictures are published in an exhibition catalogue; photo exhibition - the Moscow house of photo (Moscow)
2006 - Exhibition of the union of young artists (Moscow), exhibition of young artists in the museum devoted to last Russian emperor Nikolay II.

artists' statement
The landscape is my basic theme in creativity. I use various technics in painting: oil, gouache, water color. Also I research color features and effects, which help to reproduce achieve more expressiveness. I think, that the most important in painting - it’s reproduce of harmony, mood, sensation of the nature. And its can be achieved with the help of color - the basic expressive means of painting. My researches are not limited only to study of the nature and natural sketches. I travel much and always I make sketches. Also I study experience of old artists. Russian medieval painting, with its thin color harmony is very interesting in this plan.
