about the artist
Lance Friedman is a Chicago-born, internationally exhibited sculptor who works in glass. He has had solo exhibitions at Habatat Gallery in Chicago and The Utasuyama Museum in Kanazawa Japan. He has been a visiting artist and lecturer at The Studio at The Corning Glass Museum and most recently was invited to critique the graduate work at the Rochester Institute of Technology glass department. According to New Glass Review, “Lance Friedman is one of the most versatile and talented sculptors working in glass today.” He was one of six artists voted as "New Talents for the Millennium" by Glass Magazine.
