about the artist
Sergey Skachkov was born in 1963 in Astana, Kazakhstan. From 1980 to 1985 he was a student of the The Agricultural Institute, the Architectural Department. After graduation from the Institute he received the qualification of architect. Sergey worked as an architect in an architectural workshop, as a teacher in an Art School. Since 2000, he has been living in Russia. Sergey is currently working as a freelance Concept Artist for feature film and games. His artworks are published in 'Expose 2', 'Expose 4' books ('Expose' is the digital art industry’s premier annual publication, featuring the finest digital artwork the world has ever seen.), in 'Point', 'Point 2' Russian digital art books, and in various computer graphic textbooks. He was a participant of exhibitions and art competitioins in Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany and Italy.
