At last week's six day sale of contemporary Chinese art in Hong Kong, Christie's recorded its highest total ever, HK$2.4 billion, a 60% increase year-over-year. The results reflect the up to 10-fold increase in prices being had by China's contemporary artists. 60% of the lots sold.
